To bring up to date.
It has been two months since I last blogged. Ridiculous! Not only have I not blogged in two months, but I haven't been keeping up on all of your blogs either. Ridiculous! Simply ridiculous!
Much has gone down since March 27, 2006 (date of last entry). I have completed my Winter Term and am three weeks into Spring Session. Yes, I am taking school during the summer, so shoot me. It gets worse - I have decided to cram 9 credit hours of third year English into two months. So far, all is well and good. I'm actually enjoying myself quite a bit! I have also just started a new job at Oasis Community Church. I will be primarily working with the youth and am looking forward to getting my hands dirty. I feel quite confident in this position and have recently realized that my resume sure is "Churched up". In other news, my roommate will be moving out within the next few weeks and I have also found a cozy home to move into mid-August. The house is very close to U of M and from what I understand, has great "potential"?!?
This past weekend we had 10 youthers from Thompson stay with us. Wow! Wow on two parts I guess... Wow at having 10 girlies over for a constant sleepover and Wow at the work done in those precious hearts. It was YC Manitoba and even through the noise and chaos, God clearly moved in many lives - mine included. It was a challenging and inspiring weekend to be a part of - I feel deeply blessed!
So, don't quote me, but I plan on blogging more faithfully in the next while. For those of you who haven't given up on this blog and continue to check it - well cheers to you!
